Alan Rickman he just can be so sinister. Did you know that most of his scenes in Die Hard were so chopped that the director was so peeved he walked off the set in the middle of filming it?
Die Hard was written to be Bruce Willis's path to mega stardom. So the producers had a major hack job done on Alan's scenes.

I love Alan Rickman in his many roles, but I'd say Jeremy Irons is more memorable.
