Whenever I notice it looking dirty. Of course it gets washed while I shower, but I dont know if its properly or not. When I really clean it I get out ear bud cleaners and clean it like that heh.
I always wondered if there was a recommended belly button cleaning time period.

I am not sure if you are supposed to clean your belly button. I definitely know ur not supposed to stick q-tips in there to clean. i did once, and it sent a sensation through my whole body that scared the crap out of me.
when ur in the womb, u eat through the belly button so im thinking its got some important functions we shouldnt mess with. but im no doctor. :)

Every couple of months. I clean it everyday, but I give it a serious scrub with a q-tip and alcohol.

never really thought about it.but i would have to say after playing with my son out side in the dirt and after feeding the baby. she eats half and the other half be on me
