im having thie argument with a friend - hes saying that married with children is funnier than 3rd rock from the sun! i completly disagreee.. how can i come up with a good argument?

OMG!! I LOVE "Married with Children!" I record every episode on my DVR recorder!! I laugh so hard! It's just better than 3rd Rock!!

Married... With Children is one of the funniest sitcoms ever. It's right up there with All In The Family, The Simpsons, and The Honeymooners. Married... With Children was, and still is, cutting edge humor not afraid to offend or insult.
3rd Rock From The Sun was good for one or two laughs per episode, and maybe a few chuckles thrown in for good measure. There is no comparison. The Bundy's win, no contest!

I agree 3rd rock was not all that funny...Married with Children definately had better ratings too...So i vote Married with Children also...sorry..seems you have a bit of a tie so far on here..:)

I never thought third rock was funny. I know people were turned off by MWC over the top humor but they were funny. Third rock never got my attention

3rd rock all the way.
fun without resorting to gross humor and bikini clad girls for the bulk of their laughs.....3rd rock was a very thoughtful show and is funny on many different levels...whereas M with C was very basic and at a gut level.

MARRIED WITH CHILDREN WAS HARDCORE FUNNY, TOTALLY ENTERTAINING, AND THEY WENT HARD FOR 10 YEARS ON FOX, BETTER RATINGS, BETTER CHARACTERS, BETTER ACTORS, BETTER EVERYTHING BETTER, THIRD ROCK WAS JUST STUPID!
