6 is the right answer for the tahoe. there is not 3/4 ton tahoe so they are all 6 lug

Chevy and GMC 1/2 ton truck frames have six lug bolts. The 3/4 and 1 Ton trucks have eight.

Those have 6 lug rims...same as the 1/2 ton trucks...

6 lugs on a 139.7mm bolt circle.
Both 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive used 6 lugs.
