Hello,

This sentence should be framed in this manner:

No, but it doesn't make any sense; it reads like a Mad-Lib. I'm assuming that the sentence reads:

They were at cloud nine for being showered by a chauffeur-driven home in a police-car.

How does one get showered by a home? Can a home be chauffeur-driven? Will they, the home and the shower all fit into a police car? How do they arrive at cloud nine as a consequence?

You see what I mean? There are no actual grammatical errors, but the writer probably had another meaning in mind.

After being driven home in a police car by a chauffeur, they were on cloud nine.

It's grammatical error. They were ON cloud nine...for being chauffered home in a police car.

Though I can't imagine who would be happy about that.
