Child trafficking is indeed a serious problem around the world and something that people might perhaps find some time to look into and see what they can do to help - even if it is just lobbying politicians to put it on the international agenda.

I'm not sure that it relates to Madeleine's case however - there is no actual proof that she was even abducted from the apartment, let alone that she was taken by child traffickers (no signs of a forced entry and the Portuguese police have already said that there were no clues at all in the apartment due to the number of people who had been in there) ... the majority of children who are trafficked have simply been sold by their parents, and the rest are either street kids or runaways that no-one will really notice are missing.

Child traffickers thrive, make money and avoid the law by not attracting public attention, and stealing a child from an apartment in an affluent tourist resort is one sure way of getting noticed (as we have seen) - it just doesn't ring true.

I can understand WHY the McCanns have pushed this angle until it has got to the point of being publicly accepted as being what happened - it makes them look and feel less culpable for their daughter's disappearance. After all if everyone thinks that Madeleine was going to be snatched anyway, whether her parent's were there or not, then the fact that they left the children is irrelevant in terms of her having vanished.

However, the simplest and therefore most likely explanation is that she woke up, went to look for her parents and was snatched by an opportunistic predator from the street, used, killed and buried somewhere relatively near the resort... just as happened to Holly, Jessica, Sarah Payne and countless others, except that in this case the parents have a large element of responsibility from having left the children alone and are intent on denying this to themselves and the public by insisting that she was stolen by traffickers.

This happens every day unfortunately. But Madeleine's parents are guilty of neglect as they went out to dinner leaving her with her two younger siblings in an unlocked apartment. A terrible thing to do to a small child. She must have been terrified

i don't comprehend how somebody or ought to I say mum and dad leave little ones of the variety of youthful age on my own. I wasn't allowed to stay on my own everywhere until i replaced into approximately 12. i replaced into constantly supervised and that i liked it. of path, I demanded slightly greater freedom as I have been given older. The McCanns have been being irresponsible via leaving their little ones unattended. they at the instant are not persons that could purely arise and bypass. they might desire to think of roughly their little ones first. I study the item you published or maybe with the undeniable fact that I trust the universal public of it, I might desire to declare that hiring a toddler-sitter could've been greater advantageous. I do agree that that's going to not be a finished stranger yet while the dinner replaced into unplanned they might've employed one and as they claimed to have been doing, verify up on the little ones and toddler-sitter each 15-half-hour. i don't comprehend why this one has attracted plenty media interest, little ones bypass lacking on a daily basis and we don't hear of those. i won't be able to say if that's because of the fact the mum and dad have been so irresponsible even with the undeniable fact that that's an unlucky experience no count who's to blame. I purely desire for her secure return and that i think of that if the kidnapper is caught he/she alongside with the mum and dad (to a level) must be held to blame. no one of their actual concepts ought to leave a new child unsupervised at that age.

Um, well, how do you know she has been trafficked? And, why do you talk about her in the past tense?

Just an observation...
