what happens if you put water in perfume?

what if u put like a teaspoon in your perfume and shake it up. Will it still ruin it?? How bad??

It makes it weaker (doesn't smell as strong).

It ruins it.. wouldn't recommend especially if its the 'expensive stuff'...
