get her favorite flavor of ice cream with all the condiments you can....rent a few new release videos. play games that will cause laughter and fellowship. play some of her favorite upbeat songs on the stereo and kareoke and dance to them... keep the mood light and fun!

Take her out to dinner at a fun restaraunt and get her one of those shirts you get for bachorlette parties or make her one they have a list on them such as say hi to a cute guy and get a kiss, and get a guy to give you a rose etc. all totally innocent stuff, but the innocent attention is what she needs. So she'll see she is still loveable even though the one guy didn't want to be with her.
After the dinner go back to someones house and eat junk food and watch movies with strong willed women and have an ex-bash (b***ch about the past)
All this will help her to relize she is still the same person and always deserving.

What a cute idea! And what nice friends you are.
You need to do things that will help her self esteem. How about you give each other makeovers? Or everyone tell a silly tale about something you did in elementary school that was funny? Nothing hurtful please. Or watch a show about empowering women such as "9 to 5" or "Designing Women." You want to empower her and let her know that this is not the end, but just the beginning! There are plenty of fish in the sea, and she and you-all are not going to let this one person or event control your lives or bring you down. You are women, hear you roar! ; )

watch tons of movies and eat pizza and ice cream,
do makeovers, DON'T gossip trust me from experience we had a party like that! i didn't say nothin, but one girl said her boyfriend was a J***@$$ and two weeks later the girl that dumped hated her for saying that!!!

Get a pkg of note cards and everyone write down what they hated about their exes (one item per card). Get the dumpee to join in and make her own cards, then a designagted reader read each one befor you burn it. Then burn all pics, momentos, etc from the dumpee's ex. Delete him from her cell phone, email, etc.
