Briefs were created before boxers as a type of underwear. Apparently, someone thought that men needed support "down there", so they made them with elastic. Boxers were made later on as an alternate to briefs. They quickly caught on and are now the underwear of choice for most guys, as they are less constrictive and more socially acceptable if one were to accidentally expose them. extra safety for no stains. Also you should wear boxers not briefs. The scrotum is supposed to be cooler than the rest of your body, thats why it sags down. Briefs don't let that happen....BAD.

to help hide boners and for the men who like somthin tight huggin up against there penis for security
boxers for people who dont normally get boners in public and like the open felling like wearing no pants
