If you think Pittsburgh is better just because it's the home of the Steelers (a good team), I can only imagine how much of Philly you have really explored. Some people like Philly despite the Flyers and more than just because it's home to the Eagles. There is more to Philly than the Wachovia Center and Lincoln Field.

I've been to Pittsburgh and it's a nice town but it lacks the diversity of Philly.

Oops. Maybe you don't like diversity.

Well for me, the history is what is interesting. The birth of this country came about in Philadelphia. The Declaration of Independence was written there as well as other important documents. It was also the original capital of the US & where George Washington served during the time he was president. Also has alot of history for Ben Franklin as well.

My family is from the Pittsburgh area (both my parents and most of my relatives), so I understand the love for the Steelers, unfortunately I don't find Pittsburgh anywhere near as interesting as Philadelphia. I'm not saying I love Philadelphia, because I visited once to see the sights and now I never need to go back....

You wager they're. They nonetheless have an exceedingly actual risk to contend for a 12 months or 2 yet after that they are going to be interior the bathroom for a protracted time. it particularly is by using the fact the farm equipment is surely depleted and youthful gamers get no shot to strengthen. a youthful guy hits extra domicile runs than Ryan Howard in double a. His reward? He gets to bypass to triple a so some bum who hits umpires with bats and gets charged with hate crimes. a youthful pitcher is 3-0 with a sub 4 era. His reward? he will lose his interest to a washed up scumbag who's been to anger administration and fights with teammates. My factor right here is that mutually as Amaro has pulled off some good strikes (Signing Lee, finding out to purchase and promoting for Halladay, even the Pence commerce develop into good). even nevertheless, issues like this have surely depleted the farm it particularly is anticipated because of the fact the Phillies have been contenders. there is one factor it particularly is in his administration and that's letting the extra youthful gamers who're doing properly save enjoying. Pettibone, Ruf and Cloyd have all earned looks yet all 3 have been shafted in choose of washed up bums with undesirable attitudes. so as long as Amaro desires to maintain the elementary age interior the mid 30's the Phillies would be interior the cellar for years. To be truthful i've got been a critic of Amaro's for particularly a mutually as now.

Philadelphia is full of history and exciting things to do. I have lived here just about all of my life minus a few years in Kansas and Pittsburgh. I found Pittsburgh to be very racist and boring. Philadelphia is what you make of it, but that goes for any City.

Well first of all Philly is the birthplace of our nation. It is rich in history and it was the first capital of the US before DC. It has wonderful scenery, great people, and better sports teams. Steelers suck!
