In some cases fowl language seems to have been used just as a filler and doesn't work...But I think that when used properly fowl language can give the emotion the artist is looking for.
I mean if you writing a song about someone who cheated on you...yer not gonna say "oh fiddlesticks!" ya know?

Haha the first guy has a point...but I concur that you can get a message across just as strongly with other words, cussing out makes you seem impatient, like not giving smoother language a chance.

I think musical artist have a right to say what they want,
But i also think they should think about the impact of there music and really ask themselvs are these lerics helping anyone,
and if they want to make an album with them venting and cursing up a storm, I think it should be sold in limited #s and only privatley and not allowed on radio or tv.

Fowl language? How about getting chirpies? It's a canarial disease.
I couldn't resist.
If one uses foul language in their art, that is artistic expression. Listening to it is an option. You may very well be offended by viewing nude sculptures in which case, you would avoid, well, viewing them.

well, not too much cussing. Like not one of those heavy metal scream songs that say one cuss word after another, i hate those, but i guess if you can't find any other word to put in the lyrics, occasionally its okay.
