I have a 2wire, and then I try to search for an access point and it comes up...but then I need a WEP code....what is that?

Heh.... fifty years ago (had there been an Internet then) people would be asking, "How do I set up my Hi-Fi stereo system?" Kind of a coincidence, don't you think?

WEP code is a security code for your router. If you have a wireless router, then you SHOULD be ableto go online and in the address bar, type 192.168.1.1 and you should get information on your router and you should be able to see your WEP key. You need to find the WEP key and enter it in whatever device so your router can recognize that device. If typing that doesn't work, then contact you Internet Service Provider for the WEP key.
