No. You should protect citizens FROM terrorists. The most fundamental right is the right to live.

Just like a flip-flopper. You cannot protect citizens and terrorists at the same time. You either protect citizens (your people and constituency) or terrorists (your enemy who wants you dead). Pick one.

Well, let's say you were wrongly accused of being a terrorist & the FBI picked you up and threw you in prison w/o any trial, tortured you for months & then left you to rot in jail for the rest of your life. If you were President & allowed that to happen I probably wouldn't vote for you.
