U could try taking ibuprofen or tylenol to see if that helps.

It could be just me.. but as a runner, ive noticed that during my off-seasons, when im not running i get worse cramps than when i am on a normal running schedule. It could be just me (& a few runner friends) but running b4 ur period starts may help take away the pain all together or make it not as bad. I guess it couldnt hurt to try? :\

I've got the same problem... and birth control has made no difference! But sometimes you just have to keep trying different kinds. I'm on my 3rd or 4th kind, and it's not helping so far. But the new kind, Yaz, is supposed to be really good for bad PMS symptoms. But, I would also talk to your doctor about endometriosis like the other girl suggested...

I agree with the person who suggested the birth control pill "Yaz." I have been on Yaz for about 5 months, and I have very minimal cramping or other PMS symptoms. Plus, it really helps with clearing up your face. You take 24 "active" pills (instead of the usual 21). My period lasts about three days on Yaz.

I went thru the same suffering for 10 years before a obgyn finally diagnosed I had "ENDOMETRIOSIS" and eventually had to remove my womb. I'd urge you go see your dr. - you don't have to live with this suffering for the rest of your life
