have started to idolize personalities. Some form fans club
for their idols and whenever there is a performance of their
idol they see to it that they come in force. There are others
who stalk their celebrity idols, adding more glamor to the
celebrity. Their importance lies in the fact that they give
people entertainment, however short, when they appear
in TV and the cinema. I must assume that you also have
a favorite star.

Celebrities give us someone else to look at to compare our lives to. Some act as role models, which is what most of them should do with their high status. Others just make us thankful we aren't them. People are just interested in the lives of others, it's human nature.

they really aren't. and i am guessing you are talking about paris hilton, you really shouldn't care about her she hasn't done anything special to deserve our praise. people really should care more for the doctors and teachers and similiar who make this country great
