IQ accounts for age, and the tests are designed to average out to 100 (the calculation is: intellectual age/chronological age x 100)

An average IQ is, by definition, always 100. The average range is roughly 90-110. In theory, education cannot improve a person's IQ as it is supposed to be a measure of innate intellectual ability. (In reality then having experience with the kinds of tasks on IQ tests can help, but most are not the kinds of things you'd do in school anyway.)

I assume you are the parent, as 12 year olds are not allowed to ask questions here. Why are you concerned about your child's IQ score?
