Does anyone know for sure if it's against the Law in the State of CA for someone to record your conversations on a cell phone?
If the person recording is in CA & the person who doesn't know they are being recording is in AZ?
My ex & I had court in AZ, we are both fighting for our kids..
He had been recording us talking for the past year!
He came to court w/a 3 hour recording of our conversations for the past year.
Now I know in the State of AZ it's not against the Law.
But, he was in the State of CA when he was recording us..
The Judge did let him show some of our conversations, which really didn't say much or couldn't really tell what i was sayin.
Now if it is against the Law can I press charges against him?

Yes it is illegal to record phone conversation without advising the other person first. You should talk to the lawyer helping you for what you can do about it.

convinced I do help the regulation of no longer making calls on cellular telephone at the same time as utilising yet i'm no longer hostile to answering the telephone at the same time as utilising, presented one is utilising a vehicle telephone or a blue tooth device that quickly is going on at the same time as there is an incoming call. the idea is to keep your palms loose. In case any emergency calls are to be made , one ought to pass to the area and after preventing the vehicle make the decision.

It is legal for him to do that. Only ONE of the parties actually involved in the conversation has to consent to the recording. Since your husband was part of the conversation that he recorded, it is legal. As for him bringing it to court, any decent attorney can get it thrown out.

If you are recorded with out your knowledge it is against the law unless the other party has some kind of demand to do so by law enforcement.
