no, they are just old. Most of the guys on the line up are pretty old. There pitching is another issue. there arms are died and they need fresh, new and young arms for them. Joe Torre will definitely leave after this season ends. overall, i think they should start over again with new faces.

I'm not a Yankee fan by any means--I actually enjoy seeing them lose--but truth is that they still have an awfully good lineup, and are capable of getting the better of any team they face. You've got to give the Rockies some credit, though, for sweeping the hottest team in baseball--in front of a split crowd no less.
That's the beauty of baseball. No matter how good you think you're playing, any team can beat you. There's a lot of talent in that National League West division, and those five teams are going to take turns getting hot throughout the season. Right now, it's Colorado's turn--which the Yankees and their fans just found out. You've got to give them some respect. Remember, they took two out of three in Fenway, too. I just don't see how Yankee fans (I'm not concluding that you are one) can ask questions like these just three days after their nine-game "tear." The Yankees got "worked" on the road by a good national league team--that's all. It doesn't mean they suck.

Yeah they suck because their payroll is so huge and teams like the Brewers and the Indians and the As who spend so much less are playing much better than the Yankees. Paying so much money for Clemens is a perfect example. They think if they just spend enough money they will come back and win but it hasn't worked in the playoffs for the last 6 years and I don't think they're even going to make the playoffs this year which will be sweet.

I honestly don't think they do. They are just facing good teams out there. You can't win everything you know. And there is plenty of talent in the National League. I still believe that after the All Star Game they will come back and show what they are capable of!!!! Let's go Yankeessssssss!!!

no they dont they just havent lived up to what many fans and people expected them to be but there still a great team never forget about the yankees

Seems so. They just got swept by the Rockies!! Now maybe they will start to rebuild by dumping some of their over paid "stars" and rebuild a horrific pitching staff. Poor Roger was affected by the altitude tonight. Just another excuse from the babbler!!

no. i dont think they suck. i think they r going through a rough season. They will be back to there regular selves next season.

I'd like them to do better! Right now, they are second behind BoSox. I think they need to focus more on playing than who's earning what, and who's partying with who
