Consider yourself gifted.
I would encourage you to speak to others (in multitude)
about why and how this works for you.
You could create seminars on the subject. Cure the worl from selfishness. Because it's a virus.

It could be that you were taught (programmed) to think that materiality is sinful or bad. If one thinks that pleasure is bad, then how can one find pleasure in sex? Oh yeah, that is sinful or bad too. I forgot.
People just can't want everything. That is fine. Pick and choose. If you want nothing but a roof of some sort over your head and some food, then that is what you will get. As much or as little as you imagine you want. In my experience that sucked.
I am just letting you know that this kind of existence can be turned around 180 degrees. Imo it is good to start small to verify that this re-focussing works like a charm. A parking spot, certain info on Y/A, a phone call from a friend, you name it. Do it just for the fun of it. When you decide to move into some pet areas that are a little confusing, research the universal law of attraction. All is well. Enjoy

Same goes with me, WHY? I don't know about you, but let me tell you about myself, that's because I don't have much education or carrier, not having no financial security, not having a man, no one to support me or take care of me, as if this was not enough, went through cancer, its my day to day survival, give my best at work but not much luck, got laid off from three jobs, one after the other, losing a job, scares the hell out of me, makes me insecure, what will happen? how will I pay my rent? my bills? etc
I do customer service jobs, which barely pays anything, I am hand to mouth, but let me tell you, I live with dignity.
When I got divorced, I didn't have a penny in my pocket or a roof over my head, I was like a little scared shivering bird, afraid of vultures and outside world.
I am coming a long way, all I can say for myself is, "I am a survivor" all I care is just a little roof over my head and small peace of bread, that's all my concern is, I don't ask for anything more from life.
Does this explain????

Why bemoan the fact that you are a together person? Why want to be like one of the flock when you so obviously are a singular rarity?
Theres nothing wrong with you! Rejoice for the selfness you possess....shower yourself with feelings of content, and completion! Do not, ever, "fit the mold"...instead, by your very nature, make the next mold that others will want to fit!

You are a very blessed woman indeed...So many base their happiness in life by the things they have...The more you have the more you have to worry about, soon all those possessions own you rather than you owning them. We don't need all those gadgets to be happy, none will bring you more than a moments happiness anyway, like the new car, next year it's old and then what?...We need another one to be 'happy'....Enjoy the simple things in life, they are the best...

Try broadening your circle of friends and acquaintances. There are at least a billion Buddhists who will agree with you that material objects are not worth having or pursuing. Add in Hindus and a variety of others and close to half the planet shares your view of life.
That is, nothing is wrong with you. What is "wrong" with them is greed.

not a damn thing.being a simple person with simple wants and needs is a concept most people can't understand.they have to try and explain it off as there is something wrong with you because you don't think and act like them wanting a bunch of extra stuff you don't really need.
chances are you feel content with your life and they don't so they gather and surround themselves with material things in an attempt to be successful.
