Tres Hermanas, Mexican cuisine. OMG the most amazing food I've ever tasted. It's a Mom and Pop kind of restaurant so all the staff is family. Hard workers and great food. It's located on K Street.
Runner up to that is the Weinery, a hot dog cafe. Another Mom and Pop establishment. Amazing concoctions of hot dogs. That's located on Elvas Ave.
I have an appreciation for family owned restaurants.

I would recommend Marrakech for a nice place. It is a Morroccan place on Fulton Ave. The food is FANTASTIC and the whole experience is awesome. Great place for a date. Be prepared to spend the whole evening though. They have belly dancers on Fri. nights. It is a unique dining experience. I wish I still lived close enough to go there once in a while.
As for something else there used to be a place on Watt Ave. where you could go and get a terrific fresh roast beef sandwich. I'm sorry I don't remember the name but I believe it was in the same little shopping center as Tower Books. They had a bar inside too. I moved 10 years ago or so and can still remember the food from both places.

The Squeeze Inn
(916) 386-8599
7918 Fruitridge Rd
Sacramento, CA 95820
Cross Street:
Power Inn Rd.
5 stars out of 5 starsAverage Rating (28)
Hours of Operation:
Lunch Mon.-Sat., Dinner Mon.-Fri.
Take its name literally; if you drive too fast, you will miss this tiny eatery. The decor is not anything special, a few boxing posters and pictures of big fish. The lack of elbowroom is more than made up for by the size of its burgers. The "Squeeze Burger," is a third of a pound of ground chuck with a cornucopia of fixings all squeezed in to a huge whole grain bun. If you add fries (with the skins left on), you will have a filling meal for $5.

Of course Squeeze Inn for a Burger joint.
For a nice place I recommend Lemon Grass and the corner of Fair Oaks and Munroe. Thai Vietnamese fusion just great stuff. Have the Thai steak it melts in your mouth.

Squeeze Inn definatley for a quick hamburger, also Willie's too.
While on the subject of hamburgers..Hamburger Mary's on J Street is always awesome.
Buca de Bepo for nice dining, or if you can afford a nice 120 dollar meal for two Biba's is good.

it relatively relies upon on the place you consume to boot as the place you will flow. i'd recommend staying faraway from touristy components and additionally no longer ingesting dinner through fact the great meal, yet quite lunch, given it relatively is greater low priced. additionally, flow to the supermarkets and purchase nutrition there, you will save funds. in case you do come to a type to consume out, it may value any the place from 8 funds a meal and up, all based the region and time. on each occasion i flow into the city, we consume at a splash Italian eating place in North coastline observed as Pasta Pomodoro. it relatively is physically powerful, and for one individual, quite smart. i'm hoping this helps.
