The tricky part is counting the power-play goals and the power plays. If a team has a power play for one second, it counts as a full opportunity. If a team has a power play on a major penalty and scores twice in five minutes, the team will officially be 2 for 3 on the power play (assuming the last goal doesn't come exactly 5 minutes into the penalty).
