The Egyptian civilisation lasted between 3500 and 5000 years, depending on which book you read, and included both conquests of other lands and invasions by other civilisations. It extended the length of the Nile, so there would have been, in all that time, both black and white and brown coloured people ruling and being ruled in Egypt.
So to answer your question, yes and yes.
The importance of each race and colour is a personal thing, really. But the reality is, that depending on what part of Egypt you look at, you can get what ever answer you prefer.

Black of course, Blacks (once upon a time) controlled the world during Egyptian times and before, It's even written that Caesar referred to the Egyptians as the land of the dark skinned people

Egypt was a multicultural society,egyptians were therefore multiracial.Much like americans are not of one group but are "mutts" as they like to say.

Quite clearly from looking at them they had black ancestry mixed with neighbouring groups.I have similar ancestry and look exactly like the women depicted.

They are actually described as mulatto at one point, Achillles Tatius compares them with Ethiopians and explains that "they are blackish, like half-castes."

Very few of them resemble any of the "white" northern or germanic tribes [!] of europe,though these groups today are happy to take them as their own cultural legacy.
