They won yesterday in great fashion but they have not been great all year. This is just about the exact same team they had last year in their championship season and yet they are 32-37 right now. Whats going on and what do you think they need. Lots of people say they need for Pujols to step up and play better than he has but asides from him being only one man hes hitting .306 and has 16 homers, i think hes doing alright

They are an average team playing close to their ability at this time. It should get better when Carpenter returns but they are two or three good position players away from getting back into the mix of the elite.

Right, the same team they had last year, and, even though they won the World series on a fluke, they were no great shakes as a team last year. They will not make the playoffs this year. No mediocre team should, and they are mediocre at BEST!!

Chow!!

i think of the Cardinals needed Holliday to guard Pujols and that's exactly what they have been given. significant situation seems to be protecting onto leads and a few sloppy protection which ought to turn around (the protection a minimum of). i'm a Cubs fan myself, yet i will tell ya the enjoying cards ought to nevertheless be there on the tip. you do not might desire to be a brilliant group to win this branch, so i could say save your chin up...yet nevertheless, bypass CUBS!

well people expect a lot because the cards won the world series last year...but in my opinion that was a fluke because they had the worst record of all nl playoff teams...maybe even period...and they definitely got lucky in beating the tigers in the world series....that one was definitely a lucky title....

so this year they have too high expectations for themselves...they are a decent team they just aren't performing...
