No nerds have a special something to where they can actually be attractive. Nerds are like Peter Parker in the Spiderman movie - sometimes coming across as goofy or clumsy but like they are hiding something really great behind that exterior. Dorks are like the same oddity through and through.

I always thought nerds were outcasts that were of high intelligence because they spend all there free time learning, but when you sit down and talk to one he/she is fairly normal, maybe just shy.
Dorks are socially retarded outcasts who kinda do dumb things thinking they are funny and they are not. One can not really have a normal conversation with a dork.

NEVER! a dork is someone who is socially inept, a nerd is someone who is smart in most catagories but has a fashion sense isn't exactly wierd, and for bonus material a geek is someone who focuses on one thing and spends most of there free time on it. For example a star trek geek. I am a nerd.

Nerds are smart in technical areas but usually not otherwise.
Geeks, in the older usage of the word, bite heads off chickens in circus freak shows. Now often used in place of the more dignified "maven", unfortunately.
