Yeah dude... I know a girl who brags about bruises she got at an AlexisOnFire Concert.... but I broke my foot and dislocated my elbow at an Type O Negative/Celtic Frost show.... there is just a difference in the size of the people... between little skinny teenagers and some metal heads.

I've been to a few concerts where the mosh is hardcore and I have also been to My Chemical Romance's concert. The mosh pit is still strong but not as much. There are still crowd surfers and the occasional jackass that wont quit hitting you in the head.... but ya I would definitely say that in some aspect they are toned down from those of Slayer.... but it can still get crazy at their concerts

Depends on your point of view. Different styles of music. Slayer is about aggression, 30 seconds to mars and bands like them to me are about just listening to on the radio. Nobody beats slayer live for mosh pits.

Even though I think slayer is pretty lame, it is more intense than those bands... Just wait for a Bleeding Through mosh!

I feel like at more hardcore shows the crowd is much more respectful then the 15 year olds at shows nowa days. these " dancing" little fools are so obnoxious and have no idea what there doing. that and the fact that they look absolutely ridiculous.
