Its not often that it happens, but It gets really hard sometimes and then it'll ease up. Is it contractions?

it pains or just your stomach getting hard?

if it is just getting hard then your baby is probably tightening up and pushing on you stomach. if you rub it it will relax the baby and your stomach will ease off.

It also could be gas, sometimes rubbing it helps also.

That is what's called Braxton-Hicks contractions, they are painless "practise" contractions that will occur through the rest of your pregnancy. It's normal. You should see your doctor if the contractions become painful or are accompanied by bleeding.

Yes they are. If they are very infrequent no problem but if they are associated with increased urination or bowel movements or more vaginal drainage or low back pain best to mention them to your doctor or midwife as then they could be a sign of preterm labor and the earlier it is found the easier it is treated.

yes, but they are braxton hicks contractions.. as long as there is no pain to go along with it then you should be fine! however it is always safe to ask your doctor

yup. Braxton hicks, they are a normal response to a growing uterus, adnthey help to train your body for labor. If they get too frequent, realx for a while. you may be overdoing it.
