6 straight series lost, 4-14 in that span, only the equally inept play of Braves and Phillies has allowed us to retain 1st place. Any suggestions???

Makes me sick really.Delgado and Beltran have been terrible,our pitching has been terrible and our players look like they could care less if we win or lose.
Omar Minaya needs to trade for Mark Buehrle and Jermaine Dye.This team needs a serious boost and maybe trading for them and getting Pedro back after the all-star break we'll be fine, or at least that's what i'm hoping for.
We can't expect to continue playing like this and make a serious championship run.The Mets need to wake up!!!!

Love the question since I'm a Phillies Fanatic <3 Does it matter if they are losing, yes, because it's good for us. I'll support my team til the day I die, and I'll boo the Mets for as long as they are ahead of the Phillies even tho my teams better. 3-0 sweep a few weeks ago, yes i think so! <3utley

Outfield needs a new key player, injuries are killing the mets.
Starting pitchers are very good, Check the first two months ERA, they were the 2nd or third in the league.
This slump has to end as soon as a trade rumor starts.

Well you know they only win a world series every 20 years. So you got a few more years to wait. Then they will play some true baseball. Thats just the way it is.

They woke up and realized their rotation has Glavine and Hernandez in it, and Pedro on the DL. Honestly you guys need another SOLID starter or I don't see the Mets going deep in the playoffs.
