If you build the motor right there are no dangers. You just cant bolt any of the mods you mentioned without also adding some other mods. Nitrous is not a magic fuel. It works more like adding more air into your motor. If you don't want to blow up your motor you will need to add things like a bigger fuel pump, fuel management unit, something like a MSD box to add more spark and allows you to retard your timing when using the nitrous or under boost from a supercharger or turbo. you might want to beef up that bottom end with forged pistons ext, ext. I could go on forever but I think you get the point. There is more to it than just bolting up something to your car.

performance parts such as exhaust, intakes, pulleys, and things like that actually will help ur engine. Those things will put less stress on ur engine, ie. exhaust > better air flow > less stress.
however, things like turbos and nitrous will probably over work the engine, even if done properly

"nitrous" does not burn. it's a gas that cools the intake charge. cold air is denser than hot air. when air is extremely cold, you are able to put more air and fuel into a cylinder, which is where the power comes from. because there is more fuel and air going into the cylinder, there is a bigger bang and thus more horsepower.
anytime you add horsepower to an engine, you add stress to the parts. if you streth a rubber band comfortably, say, ten inches, it won't break and will fly say, ten feet. want more flying performance form the rubber band? stretch it twice as far. will it fly twice as far? maybe. will it break? much more likely.

nitrous burns very hot and will destroy the pistons ( by burning thru the top of the piston). turbos and superchargers put a tremendous strain on the engine and drive train. it all has to be beefed up in order not to have a catastrophic failure while you are hauling a$$

If your engine is not set up to cope with these extras then it is goin to cause all sorts of issues. If you have a car with a turbo motor from factory and you put a bigger one on and wind up the boost,it will cause problems. The same goes for NOS,If you dont set your motor up to cope with the extra strain and heat then of cause it will blow....Best way to prevetn any of this is to build or get the motor built to spec's of what you are tryin to acheive.

if the motor is built-up for either of these it is still a short time before it needs to be rebuilt
