when someone says a couple they mean 2, several means seven but what do you think few means?

I think most of those generic terms are very contectual. Sometimes a couple can mean more than two, despite the implied number in the word. As such, most of these terms technically have no fixed meaning.

Depends on what you're talking about. Usually a few means more than 2 but less than 7. The phrase "a couple-few" means 2 + 3 or 2 x 3 (5 or 6)

If you need to be sure what someone means literally, ask them to clarify more exactly "how many" is a few or several or a couple. People can exaggerate or understate amounts in just about any situation.

I've always thought of a few being 3, some being 4, and several being 5 or more. Apparently though the bible states somewhere that a few means 8.

a few is 3-5

this is so you don't use the same words more than once

for the same ammounts

with some alterations in value
