Can you be specific?
Can you cite a REAL example that we can take a look at?
You might as well ask; Why do democrats want to take away marshmellows?

The Dem agenda IS "foredoom". They know that they can'y compete in the marketplace of ideas so the cheat every chance they get.

They're fearful that it will lose them the election. Not that I can blame them.

Bert, if your referring to my fans, I've never personally invited anyone. I guess it's because many people like what I have to say. I bash at times, as you well know, but I also take the time to give some thoughtful responses and tend to agree with both sides of the fence quite frequently. I'm not as blind-sided as you might think.

I don't know anyone who wants to take away their freedom of speech. Most people I know just secretly wish they'd just shut up on their own.

I don't think they think that is what they are doing. I have spent some time studying the opinions on this site, regarding what is meant by free speech.

I think that we could all benefit from a better Constitutional understanding of what is meant.

That is giving them the benefit of the doubt. But from where I sit, it looks like Liberals, in general, think they are more equal than Conservatives.

I don't. But really, "My Pastor tells me that God appointed Bush to smite the Iraqis" doesn't really add much to public discourse.

That's the 'other side' of the debate for us, real fun, eh?

because they know their argument is so weak that it can not stand up to examination.

edit. to the poster above me. the "fairness doctrine" is a good example.
