Your best solution is to go in late, if you had a good time then he will be on your side.
Rather than lie about being sick, try to concoct a nightmare journey home and a struggle into work.
If you are clever enough you could end up with the morning off and brownie points for turning up.
Alternatively stay up all night and beat him to work, if he is a no show also then pull a sickie.
It is good to get drunk with the boss as they are showing their vulnerable side (unless you were drunk and he was still sober)Drink water before bed though to avoid dehydration overnight.

You violated two rules: 1.It is imprudent to drink when the company is involved and 2. Never be photographed with a drink in hand (even if it is a Coke). Hold the drink behind you when the picture is taken.

As for the sickie, sure, don't worry about it...

If by "sickie", you mean sick day, he'll probably understand if you were getting drunk with him. However, if you mean that you slightly upchuck on his shoe, he may be slightly less forgiving.

Better not...show up at work like nothing happened no matter how you feel...Some bosses think you cannot be trusted until they see how you roll off the job.

The less you can remember of last night .... the better the night was...
Why not pull a real lady.... he will then be right jealous if he notices.
