i like it alot...to me its the type of song i'd wish someone would sing to me....

When i first heard it I thought "This is just some stupid teen "emo" band, this song is going to suck" But after a minute i started to really like the song.
I also thought that the singer was singing a song to delilah the radio lady. But alas, it was just a song about some internet girl (right?)

The lyrics and melody portray a definite romanticism and can be catchy . The words elicit a sadness but because it is put together so well I rated it a 94 out of 100 . It conjures up in your mind a love story in which one loves her beloved but is forced to forsake it for a period of time and only to have it seemed further and further away and makes the environment around herself melancholic. It seems that both desire to be together but there is always something keeping them apart. There is a ray of optimism at the end that the lovers will finally meet and when they do the renewal of their love for each other can be consummated.

I think it's pretty trite. There are way better bands out there than the Plain White T's. They're kind of generic. You should check out some Of Montreal, The Shins, Electralane, Dr. Dog, DeerHoof.

I only heard it twice so far but its catching onto me. I did laugh though when my brother started to change the words around to make a joke but we usually do that with the good songs anyway.
I think I have to hear the lyrics more and get back to you.

Well I heard that song about an hour and a half ago and I didn't really get into it. When I heard the beginning I was like "what am I listening to!" Cause it really got on my case. Then we eventually turned the channel.

I LOVE THAT SONG.
it makes me melancholy ---but not too much
EDIT: I haven't listened to the radio much nor do I watch music videos...so I have not been annoyed yet by this song.
EDIT EDIT: It makes me feel like a teenager again (and I'm not that old either) LOL ---or like I did before I was married...and traveling....and far away.....*sigh*

I kind of like it. I mean, it's not the type of song that I would listen to everyday, or get stuck in my head, but it's a good song.

I love that song. I'm really emotionally tied into it too so that makes me like it even more. It is losing something by being over played though.

I hope the girl he is referring to is in College and not High School. He mentions "two more years and you'll be done with school" or something like that. Other than that, it's a good song...

It's alright..I liked it when it first came out, but now, I'm getting kinda annoyed by it.
It's starting to get overplayed on the radio.
but it's a cute song :D
