With the Ford F150 being the # one seller for the last several years and having owned both GM and Ford and now driving a 2007 ford, I guess I would have to say that I prefer the Ford, but remember it is each persons individual preference, that is why they all stay in business.

I used to be an extreme Mopar Man with several Chrysler made Jeeps on the lot. In the last few years, I have found that I appreciate the more refined style of a Ford car than that of the Chrysler.

Not going to knock GM in this, but they do not make a rear wheel drive car that competes in the full size sedan arena. GM products are quiet, smooth, and reliable, but they are not as balanced as my Ford.

I've owned several of both. Fords can be bought cheaper, Chevy's (gmc) hold a higher resale value. Fords seem to have a lot of ongoing problems, Chevy seems to be more reliable.

gmc all the way. ford is junk .i believe they make it that way so you keep having to go back to the dealership to get things fixed and they still get money even long after the car has been sold .long ago ford might have been good, but not anymore .but i guess that is going for about all makers anymore they are all trying to save money by having all their parts made in foriegn countries and people these days dont care about quality or take pride in their work

I''ve owned GMC's and Really enjoyed them and even a New Chevy.

If I had to go for the Heavy-Duty "don't worry about it" truck, It's Gotta be a Ford!

I always had engine noises and trans. isssues w/my NEW GM trucks!

Actually I think Ford is better quality but Cadillac is really good now. By far, Toyota is the best.

GM and Ford burn up transmissions, have the knobs and door locks break and use cheaper components generally. The American cars are cheaper but will cause you heartache.
