I'm only in my 30's, but I decided to return to school while establishing my family (I have young children) because I did not want to be 50 and say "I should have . . ."
It was (and still is) REALLY hard.

Nothing. Surviving my teens (and I do mean that literally) was far more traumatic than anything that life has brought since.
