My boyfriend and I are going to Mackinac city next weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions of what we should do, besides take a ferry to the island? Thanks!

OMG - You have to go to Mackiac Island! No cars are allowed on the island, so there are a whole bunch of HORSE and BUGGIES!! And theres GREAT fudge!! Mackinac Island is known for their fudge. Also, you much go see the Grand Hotel. It has the longest porch in the world. It's very long, VERY expensive, very richy, very beautiful. It also has a garden and pool. As a baby, I met CHRISTOPHER REEVE at the Grand Hotel. It's so amazing. You absolutely must go see it! I'll go find a link... okay - here -

Oh, there's lot of biking of the island, so if your into that, bring your bikes and go around the island! (9 miles)
It's very romantic, too...especially at sunset! Have LOADS of fun. I hope this helped!

The "Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse" is worth a vist.

They have the best fudge ever! Everyone there is so friendly its wonderful. We went on the horse back riding tour and a tour on a carrage. Very fun! We also stayed at this wonderfu hotel with the best pillows and beds ever..but i forgot the name of it.

You could visit the fort (Fort Michilimackinac) if you like history.
