What's the minimum amount of RAM you need to use Google Earth?

Neither my friend's computer nor mine could use it. Mine had 256MB of RAM. I've since upgraded to 512MB. Is that enough?

Try NASA WorldWind. It's free and runs on less resources. Plus, it's from NASA themselves, so they're sure to have great image quality. Plus, the UI in NASA WorldWind is much more richer.

You could use it but it would be a little slow.
