America voted to pass stem cell research, end the iraq war, and come up with a solution to illegal immigration. Why are the Republican cry babies in the House and Senate stopping the will of the people? Isn't it time the Republicans quit dividing our country and vote with the Democrats to solve our nations problems?

They haven't the first concern about the "will of the American people", they never did. It's all about pleasing their masters: Big Oil, Health Insurance, Halliburton and major drug corporations. You voted for them, but you didn't BUY them and that's why they couldn't care less about us and our problems.

It's all about making you afraid of it (whatever "it" may be), and trying to convince you someone other than them is to blame for it..

It goes against everything that Republicans believe in to vote with Democrats. The last election sent a clear message that the citizens were tired of the inability of that political group to enhance the lives of the average American. I don't think the democrats recruited more people to vote there way, I think it's more likely that some republicans voted for a clear change in the direction the government was heading. But the Republicans are still putting up road blocks which would allow the party in power to make any head way in regards to the desire of the American people. I don't see the point of it all.

Where was the vote on this by the way?
and where was public vote on the war? and what was the vote count on those?

And as far as immigration when the come up with a bill that actually fixes teh problem im all for it... oh and btw you had about 1/4 of the democrats that voted against that one also.

We voted for those things?

That's funny. I never saw any of those questions on my ballot. All I saw were a bunch of names for people running for different offices. Last time I checked, those people were in those offices.

As for your issues:

1. I don't think people walked into the voting booth going, "Well, I don't agree with this guy on anything, but he does see my way on stem cell research. Check."

2. Pelosi and company are doing as much to hold up the immigration bill as the Republicans. (Thankfully). Why aren't you criticizing her?

Each member of Congress is elected to express the will of his constituents, not the public as a whole. The Houses are closely divided.

??? It's not my will that government money be spent on bogus research. Why is it that anytime that the Left doesn't get their way it's the Republicans that are dividing the country... ? Aren't there *two* sides in a division? Are you in favor of forcing everyone to think your way?

working with the Democrats is unquestionably the only desire the Republicans have of final a doable political celebration in this usa shifting forward. they want basically rid themselves of the flexibility hungry megalomaniacs that are at the instant calling the celebration photos who might extremely the finished usa bypass down in flames than they lose the flexibility they have. It does no longer required any braveness to basically say no to something the competition exhibits.

If that was true, your party would hold many more seats in Congress. Whoa! What happened there?
