Maaco isn't bad. Their cheaper paint jobs tend to peel after about a year because they don't sand very well. The top paint jobs are much better and they do a better job. Be sure not to wax the car for several weeks prior to getting it painted. I used to sand and primer my car myself and then have them finish sand it and paint it.

What a fantastic response.... I could have written a better respone in grade 2.

I dont have any experience with Maaco. I've heard decent things. I guess it all depends on what kind of car you drive and what kind of quality your are looking for in a paint job and how long you plan on keeping the car.

If you want a good quality paint job for a nice car, theres always the option of waiting. I have a few friends with muscle cars that are saving up to get nice paint jobs. In the mean time they've gone to the hardware store bought a few cans of spray paint and painted them flat black. It looks pretty decent on alot of older vehicles. When you get a quality paint job everything should to be stripped down to bare metal anyways. Probably wont look as great on alot of new cars though. It costs a whopping 15-20 bucks and takes a couple hours. Just another option.

You can trust MAACO to repaint your vehicle. But First of all, you should tell all of your detail requirements on car paint job. MAACO's staff might not be able to match your requirements perfectly according to the fuzzy requirements. Clear, accurate and well organized requirements will help staff to know off your requirements in the maximum extent possible. MAACO is a national low-cost chain that can often paint a car for between $250-$400. Middle of the road auto body shops often will quote prices between $1,000 and $2,000, depending on the amount of work. An advice for protecting your new paint car. It's better to prepare special quality car cover for protection. It will keep your car against rain, dust, scratches from pets, tree branches and slight collision, bird droppings and so on.

Maaco is a good company, even their cheapest option isnt too bad... all you pay for in the price is materials.. the more you pay, the more masking they do to prevent overspray.

I dont know where you live, but here we have career/technical school for high school kids. they do auto body repair and paint jobs for people at a much reduced fee.. all under supervision.. so they can learn their trade in a real world setting. you might want to check into that option.

Dunno about Macco, sorry
