It's from "The Natural" movie soundtrack, by Randy Newman. The particular crescendo is in several places, including the tracks "Wrigley Field" and "The Final Game".

Wonderful music, great movie.

It's the theme from the movie "The Natural". I listened to it at Yahoo's music site. It's the track called "The Natural" from the movie soundtrack.
