You don't transfer your files. Put the files you want to put on the new computer on a CD, then load them on your new computer. If you want the applications, you need to re-install those on the new computer, so you'll need your installation CD's that those applications are on. For things like AIM, etc., you need to re-download.

There are several ways, but the easiest (and fastest) is simply to remove the internal hard drive from your old computer and plug it into your new computer. Once this is done you can then either copy all the files off the old hard disk to your new disk, or simply use the old disk as a secondary disk (retaining access to all your files)

Windows XP has the ability to transfer files from one PC to another but you have to set it up so that your computers are hooked up directly to one another.

do one of these following things
if u have cd/dvd writer write ur data on a cd/dvd and save on it.
if u have a memory card for example in ur moble u got one or 2gb memory card u can save ur important data on ur memory card as well.
u can also use ur flash memory stick as well
but u have to install those applications, obviously u have the cd to install those things
