It's so pathetic watching Yankee fans complaining about how Red Sox fans and others are posting about enjoying seeing the Yankees lose.. Whenever the Yankees win a lot of Yankee fans are like "See we're always the *best* team. Your team sucks. Just bow down and admit how great the Yankees are and always will be.!".
But suddenly when the Yankees lose and people enjoy seeing the arrogant Yankees and their fans lose their place on top for a while the Yankee fans are saying "Oh You have no life!Stop being mean to us!"
The rivalry to me is a fun thing. It just makes baseball more interesting for me when I care who wins and I love the Red Sox and hate the Yankees but the rivalry thing isn't the focus of my life. Just something to make the game more interesting.

So I think Yankee fans should quit this pathetic whining because some people on the other side are enjoying the opportunity to do the *exact* same thing a lot of Yankee fans do whenever the Yankees play well.

wow ivystung...you are the man....somehow you read my mind and said everything i've been thinking....haha...i love to see spoiled yankee fans cry after just being swept by the rockies and the lead jump back up to 10.5 games....i mean they've had 26 titles and they are so spoiled that they are complaining about not winning a title since 2000......
now they act like red sox fans are "out of line" and "unnecessarily rude" when the yankees lose...yet they are obnoxious when the yankees win...which is why most of them are fans of the yankees...because they can't man up and take it when their team loses.....
i hope the yankees don't make the playoffs and finish badly in the division....i hope they don't win a title in my lifetime...just to put them in line...hell at that point they'd probably be fans of different teams...lol

We are greedy. I have been a fan since the 80's, and watching them pull off nine division titles in a row makes me want more.
I am not whining, just upset at there current performance.
I'll agree with you, the rivalry is supposed to be fun with the "Red Sox Suck" and "Yankees Suck" chant. But some people take things to far like South American soccer fans. I have read about fans killing each other over team pride, that's too much.

I know here in massachusetts its because most yankees fans are only fans cuz they win alot each year, most dont even know baseball or name 3 players on the yankees. all they do is look at the morning score brag about how they gaining ground on the sox, then when they start to loose eveyone is being mean

You don't have to limit your statements to just the Yankee fans, every team has a certain number of fans that you can put in the same category.

Because most of the Yankee fans you speak about are fake fans.They juped on the bandwagon in 95 & all they know is winning since.Ask some of those fans questions about the team in the late 80's & early 90's, they wont even have a clue on how to answer.
