Find the GCD of 123 and 234:
123 = 41*3
234= 9*2*13
The GCD is 3.
The LCM is 123*234/3 = 41*234 = 9594.
In general, the LCM of 2 whole numbers
is their product divided by their GCD.

9594 ---an old trick I've used for ages: Multiply the two numbers together and divide by the GCF (think of making a fraction with the smaller number on top, and think about what number you'd divide by to reduce the fraction to lowest terms ... that is your GCF) Another way to look at it is to call the two numbers 'a' and 'b' : a*b = GCF * LCM.
In this case, 123*234 / 3 = 9594.
...hope the trick works for you!
