standing about 10 minutes and all of a sudden I got a feeling as though I was on an elevator. Not dizzy light headed no light changes like when you stand up too quickly, only the elevator feeling. Now this isnt the first time just the most recient. Its one of those things I kinda ignore and "keep truckin" like and annoying sinus headach. Is this normal? Should I see a doctor?

Any number of things could cause the feeling of fainting or dizziness(vertigo). One is low blood sugar, another low hemaglobin, a stroke, inner ear problem(Minere's Disease), not having eaten, etc. All of the things I have mentionned should be checked out by a doctor. And there are tests for all of them. You should go see a doctor.

If you have had this once in a while for many years and it is not a painful sensation, no, you should not waste your money taking this to a doctor. He or she will either dismiss it and tell you not to worry about it, or waste your time and money with a lot of worthless, invasive tests.

sounds like a low blood sugar problem, need to have a fasting sugar test, or 3 month test , Call you primary Dr, and tell her/him what is happening. Soon

Yes see a doctor, it is probably nothing but you should have the peace of mind.
I'm not a doctor and have not experienced what your talking about but is it possible for it to be heart palpitations? I know they give me the feeling of falling.....:)

Probably a good idea to see a doc. What you described is what a diebetic feels when they need something to eat.
