USA?
George Bush?
Kim Jong-li?
Osama Bin Ladin?

America is now seen as the major threat to world peace by its closest neighbours and allies, according to an international survey of public opinion, it reveals just how far the country's reputation has fallen among former supporters since the invasion of Iraq.

George Bush is seen as a greater danger to world peace than either the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, or the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Both countries were once cited by the US president as part of an "axis of evil", but it is Mr Bush who now alarms voters in countries with traditionally strong links to the US.

In Britain 71% of voters now say the invasion was unjustified, a view shared by 89% of South Americans,73% of Canadians 82% of Australians and 89% of New Zealanders.

Bin Ladin is seen as a scape goat and of no real threat.

Firstly to respond to some of your personal attacks - I was just asking for your opinions and stating some facts I'm not attacking anyone.

Firstly -I'm Australian and I have never supported Bush as he stole the election and was made president by his daddies friends of the high court.

Mark,

I think capitalism is the greatest threat to world peace. It is all about the money. America is a nation that has thrived on capitalism and it has largely defined a nation of people who are perceived as opportunists and believers of situational ethics that suite our political means to an end.
I would argue that America has lost it's rudder and is drifting in leadership. Neither Party is worthy of the honor of representing this country because we have not been a good neighbor from within and we have certainly placed ourselves outside looking in, among the members of nations on nearly every issue.
Having said this, our greatest moment as a country was the 2000 Presidential election. I did not vote for the President, nor do I think he is competent in his role. In fact, he has demonstrated a lack of respect for the Constitution by suspending Habeus Corpus. It seems the Congress has not distinguished itself on either side of the aisle on this fundamental issue to ratify and re-instate this important component of Citizens Rights. Nevertheless, as you see here on this blog; bickering, name calling and cheap shots, even in your case the audacity to shoot the messenger. But I say to you sir, this is not who we are. After the 2000 elections many countries would have broken out in civil war, or would have had a military coup. This nation did not stoop to such a low level. Having served in the military for nearly a decade, as a retired soldier it gives me hope that we can endure a failed process and arguably a failed Presidency, but still have the opportunity to progress what we believe in. Our debates and partisan bickering is far better than becoming a military state, headed by a Dictator. And so, as a Aussie I hope my feeble attempt to answer your question can further extend your country's patience as we try to get ourselves together.

I bid you well.

Keep in mind, during the Cold War, the US and the USSR battled out for each other by imposing their influence on other nations. To those who say that the US and USSR should batte on? If that happens it would ignite WW3. Without the US trying to keep the eye on what USSR is doing, we would not be typing here what we have today. Sure the US had some bad decision of support brutal dictators for their own interest but question: What happens if we stayed out and let the USSR do what it wants? Think about it.

No wonder America is seen as a major threat to world peace. North Korea may be scary but even with its nuclear weapons its a boy scout compared to America.

What is the only country that has ever purposely bombed a civilian population with a nuclear weapon?

Since the Cold War America has had enough nuclear weapons to end human life, more nukes than any country (except Russia).

Who's going to stop a pissed off American General or for that matter Geroge Bush? I don't see any men of character in positions of power in the American government.

The decision to go to war on the grounds of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" has only decreased my faith in the American government.

On September 20, 2001 George W Bush had the highest approval rating of any president EVER with over 93% when he said "We shall show no distinction between the terrorists and the countries who harbor them."

Since then Bush has done EXACTLY what he said he would do. So unless you're going to try and actually sit there and say that you were part of the 7% who didn't approve of him, then what changed your mind? When did you decide that you no longer supported him? When did YOU decide that what you voted for wasn't what you wanted after all???

ask your self who has the most to gain in a war and you will find the perpetrator, and I have did enough research to find out who had the most to gain and who influenced the wars the most , the Zionist have always been in the forefront of every war including the civil war, in doing research find out why and how some one gains, it will always point to the Zionist, the real Jews have fought the Zionist ever since they started taking control but, the don't have the money nor the political clout the Zionist have therefore they are losers same as us,
it seems as if every one has conveniently forgot that the Israeli Mossad was the one who told our idiot George that they had reliable people in Iraq and that Iraq had W,MD, and biological weapons also there fore we had no choice but to take him out, we got rid of Israels worst enemy and they didn't lose one man or fire one shot, pretty good planning if you ask me, did they also blow up the twin towers< they sure are capable and had the ability, and why is it no Jews were in the twin towers when it went down??? and why were several Israelis arrested and held for so long then released under suspicious circumstances????

B,T,W, did you know Bin Laden is not on the F,B,I, most wanted list, and they don't accuse him of complicity in the bombing of the W,T,C,?

Radical religious fanatics, all sorts,
especially the types that believe that those that don't believe like them, even though they might not cause any harm to anyone, are evil and are going to hell for sure. Ultimately I do think radical Islam is the most dangerous force, even for their own women. I've known some sweet muslims, though, so it's surely a minority that think and act so destructively.

Bush is the biggest threat to World Peace. He is going to end up with a full blown regional war in the middle east due to his pre-emptive attack on Iraq.
