It amazes me how someone could idealize a pirate? Thieves, murderers, rapist and claim respectability. At the same time they villainous the Confederacy, the soldiers and their heroic deeds. The seventeen year old boy at Gettysburg found with no shoes, eating but parched corn, never seen a black person but dying for his country. Under the "Stars and Bars!
God Bless The Confederacy and the Southern People.

Other than the American flag, I would have to pick the Union Jack of Great Britain. Good color combination and I like the placement of the stripes. I was really disappointed when Canada went to the Maple Leaf flag because they had a miniature Brit flag in the corner.

Completely unoriginal, but the current flag of the United States. I also like the 48 star flag which flew during the time of World War II. I have one (an original) and fly it often.
And, of course, the Olympic flag -VERY symbolic.

The flag of Texas. It was our flag when Texas was the Republic of Texas and though we are no longer our own country we still got to keep the flag for our state.
