The cost does go up with childrens clothes according to how old they are so they bigger the adult clothes the more they should pay

Maybe it might give them an incentive to lose a bit of weight??

I doubt the extra cloth for any moderately larger size is going to make a whole lot of difference to its cost. I think you are underestimating how little the raw material actually costs the clothes manufacturers. Clothes are marked-up enormously from what it actually costs to make them. The cost of cloth is a minimal part in that equation.

And yes, you are a right eejit for posing the question in the first place. Why not ask the same about tall people? Because that wouldn't be so deliciously inflammatory now, would it?

I don't think so, cause I don't think the price of clothing is actually determined by the amount of cloth used. I mean there are normal-sized designer clothes that use a lot less and cost so much more.. I don't think the price should be higher. Plus, fat people can't really change the way they are, so I guess it's unfair to have them pay for it..

fat human beings do tend to pay greater. For gruesome and old outfits produced from uncomfortable and unnatural fabric. to purchase on-line and then deliver through fact fat are not greater healthful to be viewed in public. it relatively is ridiculous. Why be threatened with the aid of somebody's stature? are not all of us human? Does your length make you much less of a individual? And as human beings have pronounced earlier, you do no longer consistently get fat considering which you spend your complete existence as a sedentary, nutrition compacting mass. fat does no longer recommend risky!

So under your theory If my friend who wears a 16 and me who wears a 0-3 got matching outifts it should go by size for the price.. Umm thiers are higher priced but that isnt right why should they have to pay more.

No, I don`t think they should, however, I think you will find that they already do pay more. As the size changes, so does the purchase price. It seems a bit odd to me, after all shoes are the same price whether you take a size 6 or a size 12!

That depends on how you define fat.

You couldn't just use weight (or mass), as the person could be extremely tall, with little fat in relation to their height.

Body mass index is also misleading, because it doesn't take in to account whether weight is due to muscle or fat.

A fairer method would be a hat tax, where the diameter of your hat would be propertional to the price you pay.
