And men don't wear a skirt, its called a kilt. A true Scotsman doesn't wear anything under his kilt.
When you compare a kilt to the skirts some women wear... I'd rather that it stayed that women wear underwear thank you.

I am Scottish and it is very cold in the winter. I wear 2 pairs of woolly drawers under my jeans. And some people with plenty of money wear fur ones.

It would be quicker and easier if none of them wore underwear regardless of their gender. Less time wasted.
That doesn't mean flashing their wotnots for all and sundry to see, though!
