In America, sex is repressed more than in any other country. And besides, women's breasts are so much more fun to watch than guys getting shot.
By showing violence, you're giving other people ideas, and other people are getting the ideas without knowing. Someone could actually end up dead, but people act like that's better than someone getting pregnant. I still don't understand why people think nudity or sex is wrong anyway. It's not like they're forcing people to get naked. How will watching naked people affect anyone in a wrong way? That's what I don't understand.

Oh yeah, you Americans are certainly prudes in some ways. The US is has a large population and a lot of different thinking. It has a lot of extreme opinions. All though, I do agree that to show breasts on TV gets more news coverage than, say a REAL news, is a bit excessive.
As to the violence, that is usually fake, right? If it was real, than people would definitely react.

Didn't you know? The right wing (red states) essentially controls the ethics laws in this country. Because, the law states that broadcasting standards must meet community standards. So, if the community is up in arms because of superbowl implied exposure, then the FCC will respond to the compliants. Whereas, you still get crazy movies on skinamax, I mean Cinemax.

I feel ya.
A man shot in the face, decapitated, and dumped in a dumpster? Show it on public television.
A woman bares her breast? Oh, God, lets put it on cable because children may be warped the natural anatomy of the human body.
Conservatism at it's finest.
