The preg. was guessed at 7wks from my lmp, but the u/s tech said the uterus showed to be 5wks 2d. This is my 4th preg, with 3 previous uneventful preg. I don't know how I can possibly wait 2 weeks until I find out anything more

Well maybe your dates were off. If not, then the pregnancy has not progressed. I hope it turns out all right for you.

I also just went to my first doc appointment and she could only see the sac. I was 5 weeks and 1 day. She said it is just too early and she was not worried at all. I am worried though because I had a blighted ovum so I am very scared that I will have it again. Now I also have to wait 2 weeks until I go back. I know how you feel all we can do is be patient. Just take care of your body that is all you can do at this point. Good luck please keep me updated if you like you can write me anytime

You hang in there and go with your gut feeling! Same thing happened to me during this pregnancy. My doc wanted to schedule a D&C and I just couldn't. I was 5 weeks and 4 days and they kept telling me, "You're 7 weeks because the first day of your last period." I knew it could be wrong because not everyone ovulates the same. So, I waited it out and 1 1/2 weeks later had another ultrasound done and there was the baby and the heartbeat! I go in tomorrow for my 3rd ultrasound and I'm so scared. But, I'm sure it's normal. :) You could have ovulated later than you think, so just keep going in for ultrasounds! Good luck to you!

This has actually happened with both of my pregnancies.I'm 33 weeks with my second little girl I went in for and U/S and they saw nothing but a yok sac. They told me to come back in two weeks and we would have another u/s. We went back and that u/s put me at 6 weeks and 4 days and we say a heart beat. I know it's the longest two week and it's hard. No, you should not be worried at all, I had an u/s done around 5 wks and it was the same thing. This is how all pregnancies begin. Its just way too early to see anything yet. When i had my following ultrasound done at 9 wks it was a world of difference, U could see my little tadpole :)

Same thing happened to my sis. She was concerned, but went back for another u/s in two weeks and babe showed! Best of luck to you and think positive. Stress levels effect your pregnancy and you wouldn't want to worry, either way. There is nothing that you can do, but wait and see.
