The purpose of life would be to survive if humans were simply just animals. However, we are not just animals, we are special. Therefore, our purpose in life is actually to ask that very question. THink about it...we are the only form of life that exists that have the awareness and intelligence to actually question our own exisitence. It is in that questioning that all the great things humans have done have come about. That is what makes us special creatures despite all of our faults.

Sit down in a quiet place and close your eyes. Explore your universe within. If you look around long enough you will find the purpose of your life. It could be to make a difference in this world or to help someone someday.

When you find complete peace, you will have discovered the purpose of your life.

We are all playing a game. The name of the game is evolution, and how you win the game is to survive, reproduce, and ensure the survival of your young. Beyond that, there is no purpose, but you can make (another) purpose. The gift of being human is to be able to use our minds, not just our private parts.

God is the one who is the chess player here. He designed you for a purpose. It's his game and, since you are an independent creature, you can choose to follow His purpose or squander your life away.

At some point, probably when you die, you will face God and "give an account" of your time on earth. I hope you fulfill the purpose He created you for.

The best way to please God is to love people or do as Jesus did "Go around doing good."

For me, the purpose is not always known so I try to treat others how I want to be treated. God has something different for each of us. I am not perfect by any means, but I try to live my life so that it pleases God.
